This seminar aims that students understand a variety of phenomena in mutually-connected systems such as planets and the Earth, the Earth and ecosystems/human society, the human society and individuals. The goal of this seminar is to develop an ability to accurately understand content of a scientific paper related to the subjects above and to present its summary briefly. This class applies to DP2 and DP4.

This seminar will be on-line using Skype.
Research progress of each member and latest research topics will be reported and discussed among the participated members.
Participants are requested to summarize the content and to review techincal terms learned in a class.
All participants are required to attend the Guidance session on research ethics conducted as part of this seminar.
Grading Criteria
Participation to discussion in a seminar (50%), presentation in a seminar (50%)

Necessary material will be distributed in a seminar and used for discussion.
