・Trade-Off issues such as conflict between economy and environmental conservation
・Science knowledge and uncertainty
・inter-intra generational issues

We examine the theoretical and practical possibilities of resolving the conflict itself by non-mandatory and non-regulatory methods
To learn the methodology and concepts necessary to deal with "questions which can be asked of science and yet which cannot be answered by science(trans-science problem)" while using examples of environmental problems and environmental preservation as subjects. Lectures, discussions, games, etc. are held to encourage students to learn independently, while dealing with symbolic cases of the following problem groups.

・the limits of science and the judgment of value (risk communication)
・Environmental Ethics and Human-Nature Relationships (Nature restoration/wildlife issues)
